Therapy is an investment in your long-term health, career sustainability, and personal well-being. To maintain the highest standard of specialized, discreet, and trauma-informed clinical care, my practice is currently transitioning to a primary out-of-pocket / out-of-network model by design.

The traditional insurance model frequently requires therapists to maintain unsustainably high caseloads, limits the length and frequency of sessions, and demands rigid diagnostic labeling simply to justify care.

By making the decision to move outside of that system, I look to protect the integrity of your treatment:

• Absolute Clinical Autonomy: We are not restricted by an insurance company’s arbitrary timeline. We dictate the pace, length, and depth of your EMDR processing based entirely on your clinical needs, not a corporate protocol.
• Deeply Focused Attention: I am able to intentionally limit the size of my active practice. Because I do not manage a high-volume, insurance-dictated caseload, I am able to dedicate significant time and energy to every individual client I see, ensuring you receive highly customized, elite-level care.
• Uncompromising Discretion: Insurance companies require a formal mental health diagnosis on your permanent medical record to pay out a claim, and they retain the right to audit your private therapy notes. Operating outside of this system guarantees absolute, ironclad confidentiality for your personal and professional life.

Please note that by mid-2027, I will no longer participate as an in-network provider with commercial insurance networks. All new clients are currently onboarded under my standard private-pay and out-of-network structure.

Rates & Using Out of Network Insurance Benefits

My practice operates as an out-of-network provider. I do not bill insurance companies directly for new clients. If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits you will typically obtain reimbursement for our sessions — often 50% to 80% of the session cost back (please check your plans terms for exact reimbursement below).
