Hi there, Iโm Jordan.
Youโve checked the boxes, reached the milestones, and achieved a recognizable level of success. But behind closed doors, the weight of keeping it all together is catching up. Whether itโs a nagging sense of imposter syndrome, chronic burnout, the invisible chaos of adult AD/HD, or old, unresolved trauma triggering you when you least expect itโyou find yourself just “getting by” instead of truly thriving.
Many of the clients I work with are high-achievers, executives, and highly-visible professionals who are expected to always have the answers. When they first reach out, they often tell me they no longer recognize the person looking back at them in the mirror. They are exhausted, running on fumes, and feeling deeply stuck. My role is to help you break through those unseen obstacles, reclaim your focus, and permanently lay down the burdens you’ve been carrying.
My Path to the Therapy Room
My journey to becoming a psychotherapist wasn’t linear; it was forged through a first career spent navigating demanding professional environments and complex leadership structures. I began my professional life in the private equity and merchant banking sector, serving as a Principal C-Suite Executive Assistant. In that role, I was responsible for orchestrating large-scale national and international events and conferences from start to finishโmanaging logistics and operations for global industry leaders and executives.
This early experience gave me an intimate, frontline understanding of intense systemic pressure, the isolation that often accompanies high visibility, and the quick path to corporate burnout. It also taught me a great deal about the complex, often hidden struggles that occur behind closed doors when public personas conflict with private realities, requiring absolute discretion.
From there, I moved into core business operations, eventually serving as the VP of Operations for a closely held manufacturing firm. Over the course of my business career, I also managed my own small rental property business and sat on the board of directors for a foundation as well as several local non-profit boards.
While I valued the systems-level work of business leadership and governance, I felt a distinct calling to shift my focus entirely toward human healing. I returned to school to earn my Masterโs in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Advanced Trauma Studies, anchoring myself deeply in social work principles.
To ensure my clinical foundation was rigorous and well-rounded, I chose to cut my teeth in community mental health. I spent years supporting individuals facing acute crises, complex trauma, and addiction within a skilled nursing facility, an outpatient mental health clinic, and ultimately as a staff counselor at a large, community-based FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center). Today, as an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, I bring a unique blend of experiences to the room: the practical, structured understanding of a former operations executive, combined with advanced, evidence-based trauma protocols, to help you safely unpack the obstacles holding you back.
My Approach
I am solidly planted in social work principles, always taking a human-first approach before any intervention. My style is interactive, collaborative, and solution-focused. Because I am an EMDR-Certified specialist and consultant, we won’t just sit and talk in circles about the past week after week. We treat your therapy as a dynamic container. Using advanced trauma protocols like EMDR, Brainspotting, and parts work, we will actively target and rewire the negative self-beliefs holding you back, building concrete, actionable strategies for your future.
While my practice welcomes adults from all walks of life, I am deeply passionate about providing a safe, affirming, and concierge-level space for the LGBTQ+ community and high-profile individuals who require absolute clinical discretion. Pledging some of my time to the future of our field, I also serve as a State of Florida Qualified Supervisor and EMDRIA Consultant, providing guidance and mentorship to fellow clinicians.
My Office & Practice Philosophy
Whether we meet virtually across the Mid-Atlantic, Vermont or Florida or in person at my Fort Lauderdale, FL office, your care is designed to be a stress-free, comprehensive experience. I believe that true therapeutic work requires honoring both the mind and the body.
In my practice, your physiological comfort and psychological safety are prioritized at every level. From complete schedule discretion to carefully curated digital and in-person settings, every element of my practice is designed to help your nervous system settle. The moment you step through the doorโwhether virtually or in my Fort Lauderdale officeโyou are entering a deeply supportive, non-judgmental container built entirely around your care.
Beyond my clinical work, I enjoy exploring new places as a photographer, capturing the beauty of everyday moments. Please enjoy the photography featured on this external website.
